Must have BI reference

This book succinctly explains correct BI and dashboard design, then provides a comprehensive blueprint to design and produce a BI enabled information management system. I am currently using it to integrate BI into my current projects and to educate my principles. It is like having access to an experienced BI consultant.

May be my expectation was more on the content of this book.
First several Chapters of the book covers general aspects of the Metrics, KPI's and its importance and the next chapters talks briefly about the BI & DW concepts.

List of KPI's (no definition or description) - 50+ pages
May be in the next edition, it will be good if this includes a discussion on the balanced score card and the KPI evaluation (discussed very briefly now). Overall I will give 3 stars for the screenshots and less than 1 star for other aspects in the book.

Complete coverage of Dashboards

This book gave me what I needed to prepare for my first dashboard project. Good background in the ETL and back-end technologies required, good coverage of best practices for KPI design, and the 100+ full color dashboard examples gave me many ideas for my own dashboards. There were also some useful tips from the "Dashboard Project Management" sections that I used.
